最近取り上げてきた、恐竜と春の不思議なつながり。晩春のプレイリスト。金子兜太の俳句に残る余韻。そして、フォーヴィスムの大胆な色彩と原始的な迫力へと自然に引き寄せられていったこと。
それらはすべて、「生命はつながっている」という一つの感覚へと流れ込んでいくように思えます。自然の中にある感情の力。そして、人間の中にある力。
今回は、その interconnected flow（つながりの流れ）を、「表現」「思想」「場所」「空間」という4つの入口からたどっていく Seed of Thought です。
The recent exploration of dinosaurs and their strange connection to spring. The late spring playlist. The lingering force of a Kaneko Tōta inspired poem. Even the natural drift toward the bold colors and primal immediacy of the fauvists. All seem to reinforce a simple principle: life’s interconnectedness. The emotive force in nature. In man.
Thus a new thought piece: four points of entry into that interconnected flow through expression, idea, place, and space.

① Expression

春から夏へ向かう感覚。その中にある、ふくらんでいく力。人間とその意志。色彩。筆づかい。自然に触れたときの即興性、そして原始的な遊びの感覚。そこには、とても人間的なものがあります。
本編では、フォーヴィスムとドイツ表現主義を入口に、自然と人間の内側にある感情の力をたどっていきます。
How naturally it followed: the idea of spring moving into summer, the burgeoning force at hand — man and his will. The color. The strokes. The immediacy attached to nature and the primal sense of play, of being. Yes. That, and something very human.

Articulating the language guides of late, I found myself naturally drawn toward the rough, bold lines of the fauvists. The full Seed explores this expressive world through curated museum resources, art-historical context, and guided English support.
② Ideas

美術はとても感覚的です。では、それを言葉で捉えるとどうなるのでしょうか。
本編では、ティク・ナット・ハンの “Inter-being（相互存在）” という考え方を入口に、人間と自然、自分と他者、生命と環境のつながりについて考えていきます。
The art is visceral. Now what about the expression in words? A beautiful framework for what was laid out above can be found in Buddhist thought and contemplative traditions.

③ Place

次は「場所」です。生命のつながりを、よりはっきりと感じられる場所。
福井の恐竜、ガラパゴス諸島、進化、そして時間。今とは違う世界のようでありながら、すべては同じ地球の歴史につながっています。
Then there is the idea of place. Where we can see the connectedness of life more starkly. Luckily for us in Japan, one of the world’s premier locations for dinosaurs is in Fukui Prefecture. It is well worth a visit to explore the connection between worlds. Though a different world, it is the same planet.

④ Space

最後は「空間」です。人間と自然の関係は、私たちがどのように住まうのか、どのような場所で暮らしたいのか、という問いにも深く関わっています。
本編では、谷崎潤一郎の『陰翳礼讃』とフランク・ロイド・ライトの有機的建築を入口に、自然と建築、内と外の関係を考えていきます。
The relationship of man to nature also roots itself in man’s desire to dwell. Architecture has long sought to bring man into union with his need for both physical comfort and spiritual grounding.
The full Seed includes architectural resources, documentaries, and readings on Junichiro Tanizaki, Frank Lloyd Wright, and the idea of bringing the outside in and the inside out.
